So I was thinking, there is FinTech - Financial Technology MedTech - Medical Technology EdTech - Education Technology RegTech - Regulatory Technology AgriTech - Agriculture Technology RealTech - Real Estate Technology LegalTech - Legal Technology FemTech - Female Technology AdTech - Advertisement Technology BioTech Biology Technology Allll these techs and none for Safety or Security. I stand to be corrected please. This alone tells us that we have alot of work to do with bringing awareness to the importance of Safety and Security. NauNauSOS App is a personal safety app company but we are doing more educating than anything else. People get fascinated by the concept of using your phone as a means to get help. When we talk about the app, we have to discuss different simple scenarios of safety that most are not even aware of. I was talking to a lady on the train yesterday and I asked her that if her child was in danger right now, how would she know? She said her baby will call her and send SOS text to her. I said "what if you are in a meeting or something, how would you decipher if that is an SOS text or just a regular mum I need something text?" She looked at me and said, you know what Kozy, I wont know. I just try to pickup all of her call. I honestly didn't even care for subscription at that time. I just wanted her to think about that question. The conversation kinda segways into the "What is your Safety Plan?" question. But not to digress from my initial observation - there is no Tech for Safety and Security. What do we plan to do about that? #safety ##publicsafety #technology #safetyplan

TopLadies Annual Convention 2024 Port Harcourt was a success! The ladies were excited to know more about the app. They had plenty insightful questions. In a time of an emergency, who are you going to call? How will you reach them? How will you make sure that when you call, they will answer at that crucial second?
